An email is enough — the mark or invention, what you actually sell in plain commercial terms, where you are incorporated, and any deadline you are up against. The contact page lists what helps; you do not need all of it. First consultation, no charge.
Every enquiry gets a reply within three working days. For a trademark that includes a free knock-out check — identical marks in the classes you care about — plus the classes and subclasses we would file in and what CNIPA will charge.

We run a conflict check, then send the engagement letter and a power-of-attorney form for signature — or download the POA below and send it back signed. For a standard filing the POA is simply signed — no notarisation, no apostille. Why →
We file, send you the official filing receipt, docket every deadline, and report each event as it happens — examination, publication, registration, and anything that needs a decision from you, with our recommendation attached.
Invoices follow the written quote, itemised the same way: official fees at the government's published rates, our fee as quoted. Payment is by bank transfer; the account details and currency are stated in the quote and engagement letter. If a figure on an invoice does not match the quote, you are entitled to ask — that is what itemisation is for.

Patent matters use CNIPA's prescribed POA format — we send it with the engagement papers.
